Document Controller

Key Responsibilities: Weld and Heat Map Traceability: Oversee and manage the traceability of welds and heat maps throughout the fabrication process.
Ensure proper documentation of welding procedures and inspections according to industry standards.
Coordinate with inspectors to verify the integrity of welds using visual inspection and non-destructive testing methods.
Maintain accurate records of weld specifications, procedures, and inspection results.
Material Verification: Verify materials used in fabrication against engineering specifications and material certifications.
Conduct inspections of incoming materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and traceability requirements.
Document material specifications, heat numbers, and other relevant information for each component.
Nameplate Management: Generate and affix nameplates to fabricated components in compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
Ensure accurate information, including material specifications, heat numbers, and serial numbers, is present on nameplates.
Maintain records of nameplate information for traceability and documentation purposes.
Assistance in QC Department: Provide support to the QC department in various tasks as needed, including but not limited to documentation management and general administrative duties.
Collaborate with QC inspectors and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment within the QC department.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in quality control or related field is advantageous.
Previous experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
