Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Empty bags of seasoning into seasoning bag breaks
Empty bags of ingredients into the componenter bag breaks
Operate componenter
Operate hoists and trolleys to load supersacks at designated stations
Operate seasoning receivers
Enter accurate product and Lot number data per batch on HMI
Mix minors for salsa run at cook station
Perform misc weigh out for hand dump stations
Empty pre-weighed out bags of ingredients into the hand dump stations
Monitor ingredient supply and delivery to the liquefier kitchen
Operates forklift in safe manner.
Reports maintenance issues as they occur and submits work orders when necessary.
Follow all DFA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate, regulatory quality, and sanitation requirements.
Utilize scanners or thin client units to make SAP transaction for the purpose of maintain accurate inventory levels and ensuring reliable product traceability.
Perform items on the Master Sanitation lists when production is not running.
Handles cleaning chemicals in a safe manner utilizing safety equipment such as gloves, eyewear, etc.
Maintain sanitary equipment conditions during production.
Maintain safe environment and perform other duties in a safe manner at all times.
Assists in training new operator.
Ability to function in a team based structure and positively contributes to team based efforts.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education and Experience
GED Certificate or High School Diploma
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Must be able to attain a Forklift Operator License within 30 days of hiring.
