ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Answers telephones, directs calls and takes messages in the commercial lending area.
Delivers the IBC Experience by providing prompt, efficient and friendly customer service that result in customer satisfaction.
Listens carefully, creates a connection and establishes relationships with prospective customers by suggesting bank products and services that will meet their needs.
If necessary, refer products and services through the bank’s referral program.
Assists customers with account-related requests such as: (i) questions about loan or deposit account transactions and inquiries about bank products and services.
(ii) assist customers in loan payments and transfer of funds; (iii) contact customers to notify them of check orders, debit cards, etc.
; and (iv) update customer contact information and records.
This may include interacting with other bank departments.
Logs and updates the bank’s system (Horizon) with notes regarding customer interaction.
Supports the commercial lending Officer with loan collection, overdrafts, clearing exceptions, certifications, and dormant accounts.
Assists the commercial lender with placing loans in share point in order for the loans to be prepared by bank attorneys or credit department.
Assists the officer in the closing of loans as well as opening of deposit accounts; also, gathers all required documentation to comply with bank’s policies and procedures.
Attends meetings, events and participates in the bank’s outreach projects.
Exercises discretion – he / she will work with confidential customer information.
May supervise Commercial sales Representatives to ensure they are providing prompt and efficient customer service and effectively assisting their assigned lending officer
Assist commercial lender with the coordination of schedules, meetings and presentations.
Other duties as assigned.
