Responsibilities:
- Install insulation materials in various settings, such as residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas
- Apply insulation materials using techniques such as airless paint spraying, drywall installation, masonry work, and fabricating insulation panels
- Seal gaps and cracks with caulking to ensure proper insulation
- Work with other construction professionals, such as HVAC technicians, framers, carpenters, and roofers, to coordinate insulation installation
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Skills:
- Knowledge of different types of insulation materials and their applications
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications for insulation installation
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to insulation installation
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate measurement and fitting of insulation materials
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with other team members
Note: Prior experience in the field of insulation is preferred but not required.
Training will be provided for candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
