Formosa Plastics Corporation, Texas, located in Point Comfort, Texas (jobsite), is looking for a full-time Process Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and 2 years related work experience.
Job duties include designing, testing, and installing polyvinylchloride (PVC) reactor, designing, testing, installing, and modifying PVC blowdown tanks to reduce steam consumption, designing and modifying PVC stripping column, designing and modifying PVC reactor anti-fouling agent spray system, designing and modifying agitator bottom bearing water, designing and modifying the injection system from pure water to chill pure water, conducting hazard analysis for new process, and reviewing and updating process and instrument diagrams.
