Fergmar Enterprises, a leader in the real estate industry, is seeking an experienced HVAC Speciality Technician to join our growing team.
As our HVAC Speciality Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in various properties.
You will also be instrumental in ensuring energy efficiency and maintaining air quality standards.
The ideal candidate for this position is a highly motivated individual with excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for providing top-notch services to our clients.
You should also have extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, as well as the ability to install, maintain, and repair various types of HVAC systems.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in various properties
Perform regular maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimum performance
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC system issues
Inspect HVAC systems and their components, including belts, fans, and motors
Maintain and repair refrigeration systems and related equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical problems in HVAC systems
Monitor HVAC systems to ensure energy efficiency and air quality standard
Must have personal tools
Physical Demands
Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, wet, humid conditions, and/or snow
Prolonged sitting, standing, walking
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Ability to individually list: Maximum up to 75 lbs
Exposure to vibration and dust is expected
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC system installation, repair, and maintenance
NCCER HVAC Certifications preferred
Certification through the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to handle refrigerants required
Knowledge of HVAC systems and their components
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner
